Six dazzling days, sailing from Puerto Montt on the Skorpios II Cruise to travel the wild geography of islands, channels and fjords of southern Chile; breathtaking landscapes of sea and mountains, picturesque villages of fishermen, relaxing visits to spectacular natural hot springs at Fiordo Quitralco and ever lasting memories of the majestic presence of the San Rafael glacier.
Check-in at 9:30 hs. and departure around 11:00 hs. from Skorpios’ private harbors at Puerto Montt. The trip begins through Archipiélago Llanquihue, continuing through golfo Ancud, then Archipiélago Chiloé to reach Golfo Corcovado.
Golfo Corcovado – Canal San Rafael
Sailing through Canal Moraleda and Canal Ferronave we arrive to Puerto Aguirre, from where we continue to Canal Pilcomayo and Canal Costa to get to Punta Leopardos, about 20 miles away from Glaciar San Rafael.
Canal San Rafael – Fiordo Quitralco
Early in the morning the Cruise approaches closer to the San Rafael glacier through Canal de Témpanos (The Icebergs channel) and Laguna, when it reaches a distance of 2 km. of the glacier it halts and from there we take the boats for an incredible excursion among multicolor icebergs… At sundown we continue our cruise heading to Fiordo Quitralco.
Fiordo Quitralco – Canal Perez Norte
In the area of Fiordo Quitralco we enjoy the hot springs in indoor or outdoor pools, and we can also take some trips on motored boats across the fjord. When the sun is setting the cruise continues towards Isla Chiloé crossing Canal Moraleda and Canal Pérez Norte.
Canal Pérez Norte – Calbuco
Another incredible day traveling the Leucayec channels, then the Archipiélago de los Chonos, Golfo Corcovado and finally arriving at Queilen. Later on, we sail Canal Yal, Estero de Castro, Canal Lemuy, Dalcahue Quicaví until we reach Calbuco.
Calbuco – Puerto Montt
By morning we visit a village named Castro, where we disembark and go over the crafts fair, the museum and church, and we can particiapte in an optional excursion to Chonchi. By noon the cruise continues through Estero de Castro, Canal Lemus and Calbuco, during the gala dinner the Cruise anchors at Puerto Montt.

After breakfast we disembark in Skorpio’s private harbor in Puerto Montt.

Additional night on the Cruise prior to departure
The passengers arriving at Puerto Montt on the Friday previous to departure can book and additional night aboard the Cruise while it remains docked (embarking begins at 18:00 hs.). Services for this additional night consist on dinner, including beverages, bar, accommodations on the cabin and Saturday’s breakfast.
This additional night must be requested when booking the rest of the Cruise.
